Industry practitioners partner with faculty on curriculum and research

University faculty members are critical to achieving The HUB collaboration goals. They develop new and enhance existing GET courses, working with industry practitioners to ensure the curriculum reflects the realities of companies that compete in global enterprise technology environments. They identify students who might benefit from The HUB programs and advice on how to take advantage of the HUB opportunities. And, as researchers, they bring their extensive knowledge and expertise on specific research areas of importance to industry to help solve business problems faced by participating companies.

By participating in The HUB collaboration, faculty gain:

  • Access to GET course materials, including a case study repository
  • Access to industry practitioners to provide input to course content and enhance classroom learning through guest lectures and real-world case studies and projects
  • Opportunity to participate in joint research projects with industry practitioners
  • Opportunity to engage industry professionals in support of community initiatives
