
On November 2, 2009, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Syracuse University, U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, Say Yes to Education and Syracuse City School District will co-host a day-long dialogue to help design a strategic roadmap for advancing PK-20 STEM education across the state and, in so doing, build a workforce capable of creating, innovating, and competing in the technology-driven 21st century economy. The Syracuse-based summit, spear-headed by Chancellor Nancy Cantor, is part of a "progressive dialogue" on STEM being led by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
