Students at participating universities enrolled in the GET curriculum are eligible to apply for internships with companies participating in The HUB collaboration. The internships begin in January and end in August. Through a combination of earning credit for the internship, a required online course and optional additional online courses, students are able to stay on track to graduate in 4 years. The GET internship provides students with a rich work experience while enrolled in an integrated, faculty-led parallel course, which takes place over the same period. The combined internship and coursework encourages students to reflect on their experiences, sharing them with other interns working in the same company and, as appropriate, with interns from other companies. Toward the conclusion of their internship, student teams prepare a formal presentation to senior management on insights gained during their experience and propose solutions to technology related issues, such as:

Students are eligible to participate in the GET Extended Internships beginning in their Sophomore year.
Students must be enrolled in a university participating in The HUB collaboration to apply for a GET Internships. Students apply for internships in September; final selections are made in November. Internship assignments begin in January.
